We’ll kick things off right in the heart of the city! Meet your Meewasin guide at the front entrance of the Remai Modern to start our walking tour along the riverbank.
I’ve lived in Saskatoon forever, is this for me?
Absolutely! Even if you’ve walked these trails a thousand times, there’s always a new story to uncover about our city that you won’t find on the trail signs. We recommend both the original downtown walking tour, or the NEW Beaver Tour program for newcomers and locals alike!
What should I bring along?
Comfort is key! Wear your favorite walking shoes, bring a water bottle to stay hydrated, and don't forget the sunscreen. We’ll be exploring rain or shine, so a light jacket is never a bad idea.
Is this tour accessible?
Yes! Our downtown route follows the developed Meewasin Trail system, which is paved and accessible for strollers and mobility devices.
How long is the experience?
Expect to spend about 90 minutes exploring the past, present, and future of our valley with plenty of stops for photos and questions along the way.
