SPRING EXPERIENCES
Birding Breakfast – LIMITED TIME OFFERING!
Birdwatching is one of the most sustainable types of nature-tourism and Beaver Creek Conservation Area is a birding hot spot!
For a limited time during the spring breeding season, you can join Meewasin staff for an introduction to this on-trend hobby. You’ll also be treated to a local coffee and a continental breakfast box specially curated for this experience!

SUMMER EXPERIENCES
The Meewasin Walking Tour
What is Chief Whitecap pointing to at the roundabout by the Traffic Bridge? And why is there a falconry sitting atop the Delta Marriott Hotel? Did you know that the Meewasin Valley is the largest urban conservation zone in Canada?
Join a Meewasin Guide to explore the River Valley in Downtown Saskatoon and learn some quirky facts about the rich history that exists along our riverbank. Designed to connect with visitors and locals alike, this tour is a chance to discover our city in a fun new way!

Naughty by Nature
Ever wonder how porcupines get it on? We have that answer and more lined up for this fun night out at Beaver Creek Conservation Area.
Meewasin combines some delicious local food & beverages with a tour that takes a light-hearted look at what happens in the river valley after hours. Join us while we “lift the leaves” on the birds and the bees.

JUST FOR KIDS
EcoAdventure Camps
Get outside in nature and have some fun with Meewasin EcoAdventure Camps at Beaver Creek Conservation Area!
These 3-day summer camps include daily guided adventure hikes exploring the unique habitats and diverse ecosystems of Beaver Creek, wild encounters with flora and fauna, engaging experiential crafts and activities and so much more related to the chosen adventure theme of the week.
Camps are geared towards 7-9 and 10-12 year-old campers and are offered in July and August.

Creek Creativity: July 12-14 (ages 7-9) ; July 19-21 (ages 10-12)
Wandering & Wayfinding: August 2-4 (ages 7-9) ; August 16-18 (ages 10-12)
FALL EXPERIENCES
Meewasin Grazing Dinners
Meewasin’s Grazing Dinners begin with a private hike through the native prairie at Beaver Creek Conservation Area followed by a delicious locally-sourced three-course dinner featuring Saskatchewan beef.
During dessert, you’ll get a chance to get up close and personal with a live sheep and stock dog demonstration and hear about how they help us manage the prairie ecosystems in the river valley.

WINTER EXPERIENCES
Sip & Skate
Skating on an outdoor rink is a defining part of Canadian culture. No winter is complete without a visit to the Cameco Meewasin Skating Rink @Nutrien Plaza in downtown Saskatoon. Nestled in Kiwanis Park, this beloved rink sees up to 20,000 visitors per year and has been named one of the best outdoor skating spots in Canada!
Join the Meewasin team for an exclusive small-group skate, and cap off your evening with some delicious local treats by the fire. And the best part? No crowds!
