Meewasin Dedications

Through Meewasin’s established Dedication Program, we are able to offer numerous ways in which our donors can remember and honor their loved ones through the sponsorship of benches, bricks, and trees.

Below are ideas for how Meewasin can help you remember someone special in the Valley. While there are a variety of established means of doing this, Meewasin is also happy to discuss any reasonable and appropriate request. At Meewasin, we also listen to our donors and work with them to help create individualized memorials.

You can make a lasting gift to the community. Help Meewasin plant trees along the river bank to recognize a friend, family member, colleague, group, or business. Trees are planted and maintained for three years.
Leave a lasting mark in Saskatoon for generations to come with an engraved brick in one of three locations: Saskatoon Community Foundation Plaza at River Landing, Saskatoon Road Runners Seating Node (Diefenbaker Centre, U of S campus) or the Factoria Seating Node (Adilman Drive)
Please contact our Donations Officer for sponsorship information by email donations@meewasin.com or phone 306-665-6887.
Year after year, the ongoing beauty of our river valley is enjoyed by generations of visitors and citizens. Sponsor a bench to make your mark along the Meewasin Valley. All benches come in different shapes and sizes. Please contact our Donations Officer for sponsorship information by email donations@meewasin.com or phone 306-665-6887.

Meewasin works closely with donors to create their own legacy in the Meewasin Valley though gifts to commemorate events, relationships, or occasions, as something that can be enjoyed for a lifetime, not just as a memory.

Because of COVID-19 precautions, in place of our usual in-person Dedications Ceremony for all of our Dedication Program participants, we are celebrating our amazing supporters with a video that includes sharing stories, and showing appreciation for our wonderful community!

It is because of the generosity of those who enjoyed the valley before us, that we are able to continue to enjoy and share our vibrant river valley today. Meewasin is honoured to be able to offer many opportunities for individuals to help us in maintaining the unique aspects of the Meewasin Valley as well as the City of Saskatoon, including dedication of trees, benches, shrubs, bricks, and more!
