Beaver Creek Welcomes Back Visitors

We look forward to having your out again at the wonderful nature trails near Saskatoon at the Beaver Creek site!

Beaver Creek is open from Thurs to Sun, 10:00am – 5:00pm this season!

To reduce the spread of COVID-19 and for the safety of our guests and staff, the site capacity is currently limited to 125 people/40 cars, and the Interpretive Centre is limited to bathroom use only.

Site capacity has often been reached shortly after opening, so please be aware that you may encounter an extended wait to enter the site. Due to this, we are encouraging visitors limit their visit to 1 hour. Dark Skies events require registration and health screening. Please visit the event page for more info.

Please observe all highway traffic rules when waiting to enter the site, and do not block traffic entering the site. If the lineup is too long and cars are backed up onto the highway, please consider visiting Cranberry Flats Conservation Area nearby.

There is so much to see in the active autumn time for wildlife around and we have completed many new improvements including upgrades to the interpretive building, deck repairs, railing replacement, new windows for the office area, removal of exterior shutters, and siding replacement very soon! Trail improvements such as stair and railing repairs are also planned. Demolition is mostly completed around the building and the contractor is now mobilized on site. A restoration plan will be developed to address areas disturbed during construction.

The site reopened on September 10th, 2020 with offerings to support additional health and safety precautions, our hope is that all the efforts undertaken have and will continue to flatten the curve of COVID-19.
