Endowments

Meewasin has a number of endowments funds that offer permanent investment of charitable gifts to provide ongoing support to conservation efforts.

The Meewasin Naturally Fund was created to support the ongoing efforts of the Meewasin Valley Authority. Your donation will help keep the South Saskatchewan River Valley a healthy and vibrant place where people connect with each other, with cultural history and with natural habitats. Donate Today.
As a tribute to Susan Lamb on the occasion of her retirement from the position of CEO at Meewasin, the Meewasin Board has established the Susan Lamb Endowment Fund in 2012. Meewasin's education programs have always been particularly important to Susan; to honour that importance, the Board decided that the annual earnings from the fund will be dedicated to support education and conservation work in the northeast swale in perpetuity. Contributions to the new fund will be accepted from all interested persons. Donate Today.
The Meewasin Valley Authority has established an endowment fund in Wes Bolstad’s name to recognize his many contributions not only to the Meewasin Valley but to the people of Saskatchewan. It was Wes’ love of nature and administrative experience that led Leo Kristjanson, a Meewasin board member, to phone him in 1979 and ask if he would “help get Meewasin going.” Donate Today.
