The Meewasin Valley is an iconic feature of Saskatoon. Join us on one of our tour dates featuring special guest guides to learn more!
The Meewasin Valley is not just an incredible and iconic part of Saskatoon, it’s also home to an amazing group of subject-matter experts! Join us with a featured guest guide on select Saturdays to explore the River Valley in Downtown Saskatoon. Designed to connect with visitors and locals alike, this tour is a chance to discover both the Valley itself and some of the incredible people that make Saskatoon special.
Who’s joining us? City of Saskatoon Archivist, the always wonderful Jeff O’Brien (July 16 & 23), and Canada’s Living Sky Guy, Saskatoon’s own Tim Yarkowski (July 9 & Aug 6).
And the best part? The proceeds from your ticket support both Meewasin’s education and conservation efforts, while also supporting and encouraging local guest speakers in our community.
This is a small group experience and is limited to 20 people per tour. One ticket provides admission for one person.
Tour distance is 2-3 km on paved trail. Guests should expect to be outdoors and walking/standing for approximately 1.5 hours.
*Guests with Limited Mobility: Please contact us to discuss the route and see how may be able to accommodate you.
