Birdwatching is one of the most sustainable types of nature-tourism and Beaver Creek is a birding hot spot! For a limited time during the spring breeding season, you can join Meewasin’s resident bird expert Jamie Harder and our Experiences Coordinator Sam Cowan for an introduction to this on-trend hobby.

Your ticket gives you early access to Beaver Creek Conservation Area where you will start your morning on the trail guided by Jamie & Sam and discover the remarkable lives of the birds that make our river valley home.

Along the way, you’ll learn some birding basics to help you identify, track and truly appreciate these incredible creatures. You will also learn a bit about the work we do at Meewasin – especially for the birds!

Following the tour, join us on the deck overlooking meandering Beaver Creek to enjoy a local coffee from Rampage Coffee Co. in an awesome take-home Meewasin mug. Your coffee will be paired with a continental breakfast box specially curated for this experience by Style & Graze.
