Meewasin is honoured to be able to offer many opportunities for individuals to help us in maintaining the unique aspects of our city. We work with you to create your own legacy in the Meewasin Valley though gifts to commemorate events, relationships, or occasions, as something that can be enjoyed in your lifetime, not just as a memory.

It is because of the generosity of those who enjoyed the valley before us, that we are able to continue to enjoy and share our vibrant river valley today.

If leaving a legacy is something you would like to consider, you can view some of our options below or call our donations officer at 306-665-6887 or email our donations officer, to discuss all options available to you.

Allow your holiday giving to have an impact! Any donation received until December 20th will be matched with the Moriyama Matching Program (up to $50,000), courtesy of one of the founding members of Meewasin, Raymond Moriyama!

Plant a Tree

You can make a lasting gift to the community. Help Meewasin plant trees along the river bank to recognize a friend, family member, colleague, group, or business. Trees are planted and maintained for three years.

Dedicate a Brick

Leave a lasting mark in Saskatoon for generations to come with an engraved brick in one of three locations: Saskatoon Community Foundation Plaza at River Landing, Saskatoon Road Runners Seating Node (Diefenbaker Centre, U of S campus) or the Factoria Seating Node (Adilman Drive)

Please contact our Donations Officer for sponsorship information by email or phone 306-665-6887.

Preserve the Memorial Forest

The Meewasin Memorial Forest in Gabriel Dumont Park is a special way to honour loved ones or simply help out a green space in Saskatoon.

Your support of this program will supplement current funding and will contribute to projects that would otherwise be delayed. Some of the projects your contribution could support are picnic pads, park identity signs, trail entrances and extensions.
