You can make a lasting gift to the community. Help Meewasin plant trees along the river bank to recognize a friend, family member, colleague, group, or business. Trees are planted and maintained for two years.

These gifts are made to mark so many different events in people's lives: weddings, graduations, births, anniversaries, birthdays and finally in memory of those who have touched our lives. Since 1988, Meewasin has planted 4004 sponsored trees and shrubs in the valley. The 2016 Plant-A-Tree program included the sponsorship recognition of 93 trees and shrubs.

Presently, we have a limited number of conifers in River Landing Phase II, and bur oaks by the new Gordie How Bridge available for sponsorship. The cost is $500 per tree. For more information, contact our Donations Officer.

Download our Brochure for more information. The Plant-A-Tree annual cut off date is March 31. The dedication ceremony is held annually in June.
