Meewasin Valley Authority is responsible for raising funds to support the conservation of natural and heritage resources in the Meewasin Valley. As a registered charity, Meewasin raises funds from public and private sources to support its conservation and development initiatives. Over its history, Meewasin supporters have provided 35% of our resources and accomplished many projects that would otherwise not have been done. The proceeds raised are used to fund many projects and, preserve and increase public enjoyment, understanding and use of the South Saskatchewan River Valley in and around Saskatoon.
Meewasin has various ongoing fundraising programs that allow everyone from individuals to corporations to help beautify the Meewasin Valley. As a non-profit charitable organization, participation in Meewasin's many funding programs gives you a charitable tax receipt for all donations over $10.00.
