Purpose: At the news conference Meewasin will release the State of the Valley report.
Background: Meewasin is unveiling its fourth "State of the Valley" report. Produced every five years, the report measures Meewasin’s effectiveness in managing the 6300 hectare land base of the Meewasin Valley. The information for the report is based on aerial photography and Geographic Information System (GIS) analysis comparing past land use with current practice. It grades the health, balance and vibrancy of the Meewasin Valley.
