Community Advisory Committees:
The Meewasin board has advisory committees appointed from the general public for a two year term, eligible for reappointment for one more two year term.
Resource Conservation Advisory:
The committee will assist the Board in its work to ensure the health of the Meewasin Valley; advising the Board on policies related to conservation (meaning the identification, assessment, protection and appropriate sustainable use of natural and heritage resources), advising the Board on systems to monitor performance in the area of resource management; and, advising the Board on public needs in the area of resource conservation.

Design Advisory:
The Design Advisory Committee assists the Board in its work to ensure the “fit” as defined in the “100 Year Conceptual Plan”, of the built environment in the context of the natural valley environment, advising the Board on proactive design policies for improvements to public land in accordance with the Meewasin Development Plan; advising the Board on public needs relative to design standards; providing the Board an assessment of the artistic merit of proposed cultural arts.
